Press Release: Veterans Services Officer recognized

The state Executive Office of Veterans Services honors Webster-Dudley Veterans Services Director Stephen P. Rogerson

The Dudley Board of Selectmen on December 18, 2023, congratulated Rogerson for the state recognition of his services to the towns of Dudley and Webster.

The citation issued in November by Secretary Jon Santiago states “in recognition of your exceptional service and dedication to the veteran community and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.”

“We are all very proud of Mr. Rogerson. He has been recognized, which doesn’t happen often, …for the outstanding job that he has done. You’ve earned this and we appreciate it,” Selectman Mark Landry said at the board meeting.

As the Dudley director for many years, Rogerson took on the additional role in Webster on July 1, 2023, when the two towns signed an Inter-Municipal Agreement to explore a Veterans Services District.
