The Pearle hosts artist reception for Lisa Kretchman

The Pearle L. Crawford Memorial Library in Dudley will display the art of Lisa Kretchman during the month of May.

Lisa is a mixed-media artist living in Dudley. She studied painting, illustration and digital media at the Mass. College of Art and Design. Her work has been displayed in local galleries, museums and events, including the Warwick Museum of Art, the Attleboro Arts Museum, the Rhode Island Convention Center and the Quinebaug Valley Council for the Arts & Humanities.

Lisa also participated in public art projects, such as the Putnam’s Fire & Ice Festival and the Jack-OLantern Spectacular at the Roger Williams Park Zoo.

Much of her work is inspired by nature based in New England and the pieces on display throughout May focus on landscapes and flowers from the artist’s travels and her own garden.

The Pearle is hosting an artist’s reception at 6 p.m. on May 13 at the library located at 40 Scholfield Ave. in Dudley.
