Press Release: Dudley Tree Lighting Event
December 18, 2023
The weather was perfectly less than frightful December 14 when a little elfin magic visited Dudley Town Hall and the Christmas Tree was lit.
Holiday music and cheer greeted families as wee ones gathered with Christmas wish lists in hand to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus.
And, there was food - lots of food: pizza, hot cocoa and sweets.
The Dudley Board of Selectmen thanks the many individuals, groups and businesses for their generous contributions to the event:
The Dudley Police Department's Chief Karlowicz and Sgt. Remillard.
The Dudley Fire Department's Chief Kochanowski and George Patrinos.
The Highway Department, especially Brian Sgaraglia, MJ Gatzke and Jeff Thibault.
Big Al’s Pizza Plus, Dudley House of Pizza, Jimmy’s Pizza, and Leoni's Brick Oven Pizza, Yummy's Chinese Restaurant, Park n’ Shop, McGee Toyota, Dippin’ Donuts, and Dunkin Donuts of Dudley.
Special thanks to all the volunteers from town hall, the Cournoyer family, Debbie LaPlaca, Amanda Gage and the Dudley Woman's Club, who donated their time and talent to this event.
And a big shout out to the Shepherd Hill Regional High School Band and maestro Tom Wilson, bravo!
