            On Friday, June 16, 2023, at approximately 1:26 am, Dudley Police along with Dudley Fire/EMS were dispatched to the area of Schofield Ave. near Perryville Rd. for a motor vehicle accident.  Webster Police also responded to the area. 
 
            Upon arrival, officers located a heavily damaged vehicle with one occupant.  Officers attempted to render lifesaving aid until EMS arrived.  The 28-year-old male driver was transported to UMASS Hubbard where he succumbed to his injuries. 
 
             CEMLEC accident reconstruction is conducting the investigation.  Any questions can be directed to the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.

Update from the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
 
The identity of the deceased in a fatal motor vehicle accident in Dudley, Massachusetts on Friday morning has been confirmed by the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office as 28-year-old Rafal Lachcik of Thompson, Connecticut.
