Paul Ceppetelli located the suspect vehicle in the driveway of 11 Leonard Ave. along with the operator.  The vehicle had significant damage to the left front end of the vehicle.  After a brief investigation, the operator of the vehicle was placed in custody.  The suspect was identified as Edward Mahoney of Dudley.  Mr. Mahoney was charged with the following:

OUI-Liquor-3rd offense

Negligent operation of motor vehicle
Leave the scene of personal injury

Mr. Mahoney was held on $2,500 cash bail and was arraigned Monday morning at Dudley District Court.  Officer Tyler Smith and Officer Ryan Daniels assisted with the investigation.
