Employee Spotlight - COA Director Deborah Johnson

Deborah comes to us with an MBA from Nichols College. Her vast business experience has been focused on helping others grow in their careers. Deborah and her family have lived in Dudley for 45 years and her sons went through the Dudley school system.

In November 2023, she took on the role of Council on Aging Director, which oversees the Dudley Senior Center.   

“I enjoy working with the seniors, interacting with them and helping them but mostly having fun with all of them,” she said. “I am blessed to have the many volunteers who serve lunch, make lunch, and help our seniors have fun. My goal is for everyone to leave here happy with a smile on their face.”

Since arriving, Deborah and her volunteers have added a brown bag lunch, a potluck lunch, and a crafting event to the monthly calendar.
