Press Release: DWC & Annual Veterans Holiday Basket Program

The DWC Annual Veterans Holiday Basket program brought seasonal meals and cheer to 20 local families this year! Starting in 2010, and each year since, DWC members have assembled holiday gift baskets for local Veterans in need. This annual giving project is coordinated with the Dudley Veterans Agent, who identifies those in need and distributes the baskets that hold a complete holiday dinner and pantry foods.  This year, DWC club members donated the goods for 20 baskets valued at $1,600. The DWC thanks BJ’s Wholesale Club for assistance with turkeys.  Thank you to club member Cecile Bernier who heads up this giving project and to everyone who donated or played a role in making this happen!
