Re: Dudley Historical Commission Supports Stevens LLC’S Historical Tax Credit Application.

Dear Ms. Simon:

The Dudley Historical Commission once again takes this opportunity to stand unhesitatingly behind its endorsements of the Stevens Linen Works restoration as stated in previous endorsements.  The 164-unit mill conversion envisioned by Stevens LLC in the linchpin of our community’s industrial history is the great hope for its future development.

In view of the many funding appeals this program generates, we feel greatly beholden to the administrators of this program for the credits it has  received.  We earnestly hope for continued credits to realize the potential of this mill conversion  for our community and State.

As stewards of the historical patrimony of this community, we cannot adequately state the importance we assign for this endeavor and appreciate  the help so far rendered as well as the importance of support in this next and future funding cycles.

Thank you for your attention.

Yours truly,

Michael Branniff
